Soccer
I have tesently had to take a break from soccer. This is a big blow to me because I am used to playing almost every day. The constent impact on my foot has cosed some extream pain and it has been heard to walk in the morning. I plan on taking a break fro a few weeks and hope to be playing again soon.

Parkour
Today I had another great practice at the gym I coach at. I have been a little slow lately because of some pain in my foot but i am trying not to let that slow me down. Parkour is one of my favorite ways to exercise and I recommend everyone trying it. It is exciting fun and there are always new things to try and challenge yourself with. It is also one of the best ways to stay in shape because you use your howl body and it requires balance strength endurance flexibility and power.

Suspension Trainers
In Dr. Nichols Fitness Education class last week, I got to work with Suspension Trainers for the first time. They are a really versatile piece of equipment because you can adjust the length of the handles or the position of your feet to make the exercise easier or harder. It can be used to work out upper body, lower body, and core muscle groups. Some examples for upper body are rows, push ups, bicep curls, tricep extensions, chest flys, and more. Lower body exercises can include various types of squats like the one legged lunge squat and the assisted pistol squat. Core exercises are things like pikes, reverse crunches, side crunches. If you want to make these exercises more challenging, you can add weight like medicine balls or sand bells. I like this piece of equipment because you can use it anywhere and work out every major muscle group.
